Paying for your subscription
What checkout looks like, and what happens if a renewal payment doesn't go through.
Whenever a payment is needed — upgrading, activating an add-on, buying an AI query top-up, or paying an overage — BusinessCopilot sends you to a secure hosted checkout page to pay by card or transfer.
- Select the action that needs payment (for example, Switch to this plan on a more expensive plan).
- You're taken to checkout to complete payment.
- Once you're done, you're brought back to BusinessCopilot on a page that confirms your payment.

Confirmation isn't instant — BusinessCopilot double-checks with the payment provider before marking anything as paid, so you may briefly see a "Confirming your payment…" state. This resolves one of three ways:
- Payment confirmed — you'll see the amount charged, and your plan or add-on is now active.
- Payment didn't go through — nothing was charged, and you can safely try again from the Plan & Billing page.
- Taking longer than expected — rare, but if confirmation is slow, you'll be told it's safe to leave the page; you'll be notified once it's confirmed, and the Plan & Billing page will reflect it the next time you visit.
If a renewal payment doesn't go through
If your subscription's automatic renewal fails, you're not cut off right away. You'll see a notice that your renewal is overdue, but everything keeps working exactly as before while you sort out payment — pay from the Plan & Billing page to bring your plan back up to date.
If it stays unpaid for too long, your plan moves to expired and paid features stop being available until you renew.
