Tracking money owed to you and money you owe
Keep an eye on outstanding customer credit and unpaid supplier bills, and how overdue each one is.
Money owed to you (receivables)
Go to Accounting → Receivables to see everything customers still owe you, grouped by how overdue it is: current, 31–60 days, 61–90 days, and over 90 days.

This builds up from your credit sales — every credit sale that hasn't been fully paid off shows up here until it is.
Money you owe (payables)
Go to Accounting → Payables for the same view of what you owe your suppliers, aged the same way.

This builds up from purchases you've recorded from a supplier that you haven't fully paid yet.
If something looks off
Both the Receivables and Payables pages also let you run a real check that these balances agree with your books — if you're an Accountant investigating a mismatch, see Reconciliation & Accounting Integrity Exceptions in the Accounting Guide.
