Understanding your Balance Sheet at a glance
See what your business owns, what it owes, and what's really yours, as of a given date.
Go to Accounting → Balance Sheet to see a snapshot of your business's financial position as of a specific date — not over a period, like the Profit & Loss, but at one point in time.

Reading it
- Assets — everything your business owns or is owed: cash, stock, money customers owe you.
- Liabilities — everything your business owes: supplier bills, loans, tax due.
- Equity — what's actually yours once you subtract what you owe from what you own.
BusinessCopilot always checks that Assets equal Liabilities plus Equity, and tells you clearly if something's out of balance rather than showing you a number that doesn't add up.
If you're an Accountant and want the full statement set — Trial Balance, Cash Flow, Statement of Changes in Equity — or what to do if it doesn't balance, see Understanding your Balance Sheet (Guide depth) in the Accounting Guide.
